Today is a Very Special Day!

Reasons:

1. It’s Groundhog’s Day, though I heard that Punxsutawney Phil predicted six more weeks of winter. Sorry for those of you who don’t live near(ish) to the equator.

2. I got an email from my boss in which he asks if I would be willing to take tomorrow off. SURE. NO PROBLEM!

3. Amazing evening TV line-up for me this evening, the most important of which is the premiere of the final season of LOST, perhaps the most intelligent television show of all time. In order to prepare for this day, I have done the following:

a) Reviewed some of my notes from my college core curriculum classes, which were heavily focused on classical culture.

b) Rewatched 1/2 of the past season, and then the two final episodes, “The Incident” Parts 1 & 2.
c) Will watch the recap airing on ABC at 8 PM.

Then, the raisonne d’etre: the two-hour premiere! Some questions will be answered, many more will be asked. Let’s just hope Jeff Jensen of Entertainment Weekly doesn’t suffer a psychotic break.

3. Finish the end of the documentary Air Guitar Nation. Just look it up now.

4. Watch this week’s Millionaire Matchmaker at 11. Patti Stanger is sort of my new guru. Bitch lives her reality.

5. My friend Ralphy B., badass Indiana Jones-esque relic hunter, is interviewed by the New York Times! Ch-ch-check it out.  http://www.nytimes.com/2010/02/02/nyregion/02experience.html?ref=nyregion
